We are very thankful to everyone who attended our Meetup presentation on Industrial machine learning for time series modeling hosted at the StartupLab. Your curiosity and enthusiasm helped to make the discussions both productive and fun.
One of the goals of our talk was to show how one can make the most out of time series data and of less structured data. If these types of data are analysed in a proper manner, it can make production cleaner, safer and more efficient.
There are a lot of obstacles when making RNNs learn complex long-term patterns in sequences. In the presentation, we covered the solutions for automatically categorizing and preprocessing sensor time series when lacking metadata. We hope that we fueled your interest to industrial machine learning and provided good practical tools to address the challenges of RNNs.
