First place in Kaggle competition

The prestigious Kaggle competition to advance the state of the art in indoor positioning just concluded. The challenge was organized by Microsoft Research. We are excited to announce that two of our data scientists (Are and Tom) competed in the winning team "Track me if you can". They took first place out of 1,170 teams!
The winning solution combines non-parametric and deep learning modeling with discrete optimization using Beam Search. You can read more about the competition on the competition GitHub page and about the winning solution on the Kaggle forum.

Congratulations Are and Tom!
